TERMS OF USE FOR CANDY LANE PIXELS

These are the terms of use for anything you
download and use from Candy Lane Pixels. Please read these terms completely, because by
using anything from the members area you are agreeing to the terms
whether or not you have read them :)
1. Do not share your password with
anyone. No password or login information should be shared. It's a common
sense thing. If it happens, your account will be terminated. No refunds for
any licenses and you will be told at that time, to discontinue using my art
work. The excuse of "I didn't know, I am new to this" WILL NOT WORK!!!
It is NEVER okay to share your login information with others, if they want
to see what I have, they can always purchase my 1 month trial, that's what
it is for. I don't care if you think those people will not download
anything, it's still not okay. I work hard on my sigtags, spend hours
each week making them and getting updates ready for my members, and someone
shouldn't get access to all of that without paying or winning it fair and
square!! Just remember I spend a lot of money to keep this site open
and the prices are low enough for most anyone to join.
2. Sigtags are for personal use only, do not rip apart or snag
them. You can request 48 sigtags per month, any way you like -
most do 12 a week, some do all at once. You can request any day of the week, I am home all
the time and don't mind filling orders whenever I can. Please
give me at least 48 hours to fill requests, I do have a toddler
running around so sometimes it can get hectic LOL. (Most of
the time I get them back to you same day though) I will be
glad to take requests for new siggies at any time! If there is
something you would like to see, let me know and I will do my best
to get it or make it :)
3. Give proper credit to the original site
AND my site on the same page, either
as a text link or with a banner. It must be an active link to
both sites. You can find my linking
banners in the members area. Please put your membership logo
up within 7 days of joining. It shows me you want to be a part of this
members area, and you have no problem linking back.
4. No sharing of anything on this site through any kind of groups or
forums. If you use a site such as LiveJournal, Flickr, or other social
site, you may place sigtags you get from my members area on your webpage,
and if you make items for a community, I require that you give me the
community address so I can check that my terms are being followed.
There may be certain graphics in the members area that will NOT be allowed
for use on these sites, due to the creators terms of use. But I will
be posting a list of which sites are not allowed. There will still be
plenty for you to play with though!
5. If you have a site and are using
anything from this membership, you need to have the 3 protection
scripts in place - you can email me and ask for them, I will be glad
to assist you - this is necessary because all of the tubes/lines in
my members area are made by others.
6. Sigtags are made for 1 person only, so don't give them away
to someone else with the same name. Again, the image
protection scripts will stop people from snagging them.
7. Any as-is material you use from this
site MUST have a link to the original artist(s) as well as Candy
Lane Pixels. NO EXCEPTIONS!!! Most of the time you will
find a logo from the original artist(s) in the zip files, so it's
fairly easy for your to credit :) I always place the logos
directly above the sets, so you can right-click and save them to use
too. Anyone found to be ignoring
this rule will be given 7 days to correct the problem, then they
will be deleted from my members area and all content from this
members area must be removed from their site. I know this
seems harsh, but it's to protect the wonderful artists that I
purchase my content from.
8. You must display your
members logo on your site within 7 days (if you have a site).
A site is not required to join my members area.
9. None of the as-is tubes or lines can
be re-sold, recolored or used as-is. As-is means that I can
have them for my members only. Tubes can be used to make any
end-use products such as IM Stats, Sigtags, Websets. Lineart
can be shaded and used for end-use, or you can tube your creations
with a Tube License, which can be purchased separately. The
Tube License for my site is $10.00, but it allows you to tube any
lineart you get from this members area. If you are in doubt on
anything, please ask me.
10. Nothing you make from the lineart or tubes on this site can be sold
as-is! This is only because the creators terms specify that you cannot
sell as-is tubes from their lineart creations :) My outlines are for
your personl graphics only. You may purchase a Tube license for 5
dollars to use any of the lines on my site for commercial purposes, but you
CANNOT sell the tubes you make as-is unless checking with me first!!!
11. I reserve the right to cancel membership, with-hold your
membership or deny membership. I haven't had to do this hardly at all, but
it's my right to do so. I promise, I'm fair.
12. Respect my other members, and myself at all times. I can promise
then, you'll get the same respect from me. If any of my members are
found to be disrespecting other site owners, or breaking terms of use at
other sites, I do reserve the right to ban you from this site. Reason
is because if you don't respect others, why should I expect you to respect
me????
13. If you are in doubt or have any questions, ask first, I
don't bite (well, at least not hard LOL!)
14. Have fun with it! Because I sure am!
I love having this site, it is one of the few things I enjoy, so
please don't break my terms, it upsets me and I am a human being with
feelings! :)
